Karen is best known for The End of the Beginning saga; The End of the Beginning (March 2020) and The Hope of the World (September 2020).
Following Mark’s death in 2021, the publication of Project Aiishi was postponed and is now expected in 2025. She is working on a project for the grandchildren. Ghost Writer will be intended for readers aged 10 to 12, and should appear in 2024.
Karen lives in Wiltshire with her cat, Finn and her Maine Coon, Essa, who managed to slip out of The End of the Beginning to keep Karen company.
She has a large extended family who enjoy discussing characters, story lines and locations.
Karen is the proud Granny of six grandsons and two granddaughters with the expectation of an addition in the Spring of 2024.
